Imagining the future

Today, our adventurers explored Tampere as Piia and Niina attended the Imagine the Metaverse 2024 event. Among others, we met Pauliina Mäkelä, who had previously influenced our office, and Mika Luimula, known for winning the Best Finnish Learning Solution competition.

One of the most impactful speeches was delivered by Johanna Pystynen, who discussed leading change through emotional intelligence. Technology is only one aspect of the ongoing AI and metaverse developments. Equally important is how different individuals find their place and best utilize their potential in a changing work environment. The issue of professional identity crises was also addressed.

During the day, we had the opportunity to test a robot that integrates physical and virtual worlds and to hear Jussi Niemioja’s innovative visions for a new public transport solution based on personal transport capsules. The day was also enlivened by a fun bubble tea, which was a new experience for our team.

Overall, it was a highly rewarding event.
